NUMU Exhibition: Chateau Liberté
The NUMU Los Gatos exhibition explores and celebrates Chateau Liberté, or "House of Freedom" in the Los Gatos mountains that was at times a bordello, a resort and a restaurant. This installation displays the history of the property’s transformation into Chateau Liberté during the era of the Summer of Love – 1965 to 1975 – where it attracted some of the biggest names in rock music with Bay Area roots including: The Doobie Brothers, The Tubes, Hot Tuna, members of the Grateful Dead and many others. Open now through 04 Feb 2018.
