Rahsaan//athon: 5th Anniversary

Cafe Stritch's RAHSAANATHON brings together some of today's finest jazz players on to one stage to pay tribute to the life & music of the great Rahsaan Roland Kirk, but who are the Eulipion All-Stars? Marcus Shelby on bass, Matt Clark on piano, Charles McNeal on alto sax, Darrell Green on drums, and Terrie Odabi lending her vocals to back Steve Turre & James Carter as they navigate Kirk's musical history. All of them are currently living or have lived in the Bay Area and they have played with each other as the Eulipion All-Stars for 5 years. This group creates magic every year. Thursday August 3 through Sunday August 6th.
